Zach Kerzee

Zach’s first memories of Lord of the Rings are of listening to the cassette tapes of the 1979 NPR radio drama that came in a wooden box. He first read the books in fifth grade, though the librarian caused a lot of confusion when she handed him a paperback of The Two Towers to read first.

Zach is a Texan who was raised by a school teacher and United Methodist pastor. He studied religion and Koine Greek at a small Methodist school in Abilene, Texas called McMurry University, and then moved to New England to study at Harvard Divinity School in 2011. He works as a minister in Wellesley, MA.

Cohost

Logan Robertson

‘The Hobbit’ (Rankin/Bass, 1977) burned a deep groove in Logan’s cerebral cortex in the late 1980s. Following this foundational encounter, Brian Jacques, Tolkien, Gene Roddenberry, and Frank Herbert lit a path leading inexorably to a life full of questions about the soul and the cosmos.

For well over a decade after gaining a Masters of Divinity from Vanderbilt University Divinity School, Logan has sought to maintain a center of gravity with the unhoused and unseen in Denver, Colorado and the wider metro area. Logan and his wife make a place in Lakewood for themselves, their three kids, and Rosie who is a dog.
